I'm a Police officer and I also suffer with depression. It has taken me years to come to terms that I have to take anti-depressants the rest of my life. I want others not to be afraid to admit that they might need help to . It doesn't make you a weak person or crazy depression is genetic. I want to help other officers who have the same struggles. Im not a psychiatrist or counselor but if you need help I will help you find it.
